Home Feature: Alpine, Utah Spa Retreat

For this project, we remodeled the primary bathroom and closet as well as the kids’ bathroom. Take a look at the final results and read what the homeowner has to say about it!

Q: Why did you choose to remodel your existing home?

A: “We love our neighborhood, the schools, and the proximity to family we enjoy in our home. But we wanted the benefits we could get from a new build. So we renovated!”

Q: What were the overall design goals for your home?

A: “Beautiful, functional, fresh and updated.”

Q: Were there any challenges that needed to be addressed?

A: “Yes! We wanted to switch the entire footprint of the bathrooms, as well as increasing the water pressure. Bluerock managed a complicated job beautifully!”

Q: What is your favorite thing about your home?

A: “Our primary bathroom and closet! Updated perfectly.”

Q: What does your family like about your home?

A: “The bathtub—our kids love it and we really like the wet room so they can splash away.”

Q: In what ways has your new space improved your daily life?

A: “The primary closet we updated is so thought out and lovely. It makes it easy to maintain our clothes and keep things organized.”

Q: What advice would you give to someone thinking about starting a remodel project?

A: “I would encourage them to work with a designer, and to be flexible on timeline. But not flexible on quality of the work. And to work with Dave Whitaker and the Bluerock Team!”
